Backstory

You play as Pudu, a Chilean Pudu from southern Chile under the scientific name of pudu pudu. But unlike other pudus, Pudu likes cheesecakes.

So Pudu traverses the jungles in search for a leftover cheesecake leftover by some previous archeologists, who left a while ago. At long last, he has found the cheesecake, only for it to be barely beyond his reach.

Controls

Some Foes

Some animals would stop to nothing to prevent Pudu from getting his cheesecake. Most of them however are just minding about their own business but still getting in the way. Just step on their heads.

Useful Items

Throughout the game Pudu requires certain items to progress. Pudu can pick them up by sitting on them.

Note: The fruit of the bush berry tree can recover some lost health. Don't forget to visit it when Pudu is low on health else you need to start over again.

Game Over ?

Are the controls unresponsive ? Are the hearts on the top right screen no longer red ? Does Pudu look like this ?

It appears Pudu has fainted and needs to recuperate. Press "space" on the keyboard to try again the next day when Pudu feels better, but at the expense of everything else looking just like when he first came.

Troubleshooting

The monitor screen does not show anything - Check if you're running the latest version of your browser and that the browser supports html5 and javascript is set to run.

There is no sound/music - Html5's audio tag is new and even the latest browsers may or may not render the audio properly.

Where can I find the game disk - The disk does not exist.

Developer Notes

It started out as a practice game for me to get to know the impactjs engine but the background looked plain. I added a few things, then a few more until it became a sort of mock full fledged published game look. But it still plays from start to finish in less than 10 minutes though.
